Using a computer monitor for extended periods of time can cause both eye and neck strain if you are not careful. You can minimise the harm by ensuring that you place your monitor at the correct height and distance from your seating position. Ideally, your computer monitor should be around 50 to 75mm (arm’s length) from your eyes so you can avoid squinting or straining. Ideally, your monitor should be straight ahead and either at or slightly below eye level. We offer a range of monitor arms that can help you reposition your monitor to your ideal position, even if you are replacing somebody much taller or shorter than you at the computer. We can also provide you with dual monitor arms for when you love working with the extra real estate of two monitors.
